I got the idea to Honor The Strong years ago, but it really grew in to action last summer of 2020. We saw the world suffer from the Corona virus, and we saw how hard our Emergency Medical Service, EMS, was working. Day & night, 7 days a week with no extra pay. Under-staffed and with a short supply of PPE, our nurses & doctors took a hard hit and did not get the credit they so well deserve. 
We also had the worst wildfires in our history hitting California, and firefighters were working under extreme hard conditions.
Then we had protests & riots, and our police was busy, to say the least.
That was when I thought we ALL have to honor them, and show that We are thankful for their work. 
The idea of “Honor The Strong” was born.
